Blaze Phase
Apalachcola Kingsnakes. A Kingsnake from the Florida panhandle that is the last word in variation! Individuals can exhibit an astounding range of color and pattern from wide banded or blotched , to striped, abberant, or completely patternless. Add hyperythristic trait to this snake and you get the amazing "Blaze Phase" goini.

This is my best Blaze Phase male. It is the same snake in the pic above when it was a juvenile.

Gulf Coast Reptiles originated the Blaze Phase goini. HYPERYTHRISTIC- a.k.a. "Blaze phase". Is a true reccessive trait of the Apalachicola king.

The Blaze (a.k.a. HYPERYTHRISTIC) is a recessive trait that is not related to the hypo. It is its own trait. This was proven a few years ago when Tony Dongera and I bred a Blaze to a hypo Brooks. The resulted babies all came out normal (double hets). Today my good friend Tom Stevens is raising those babies up to breed to one another.

This adult male is the same snake that is the first picture on this album as a neonate.
